Welcome back to Cleaning Month - it's week 2 and we're well on our way to cleaning up our homes a little bit at a time. This week is all about windows - we're going to REALLY clean them every little bit of them. If you don't like to clean windows, you're just going to have to give it a try. Wait until you see the results - it'll totally be worth it!
This week we're playing for my best selling Cleaning Kit and New Weekly Docket! Two people will win one of each - yay! Comment about Cleaning Month, follow, blog about Cleaning Month, tweet about Cleaning Month, subscribe to Clean Mama, whatever - just let me know you did in the comments through this week and you'll be entered to win!
Now onto Week 2 and Windows....
Today we are tackling the window casings - say what? Here's what we're cleaning - pictures are so much easier, don't you think?
It should come as no surprise that I'm using Basic H2 to wash every single part of my windows - another picture to illustrate how I'm washing the window casings....
You can spray the casings, use a wet rag, or wipes....regardless of how you clean the casings, it'll make a big difference in the overall clean of your windows this week. (If you live somewhere other than the cold Midwest, you might want to open the windows and do the tracks - I'm saving that for spring cleaning.)
Don't forget our daily tasks - they should be easier this week (I hope)....
•SWEEP FLOORS
•WIPE COUNTERS
•LAUNDRY
•CLUTTER
Then every day of the week, I choose a larger cleaning task to do - Monday is bathrooms day. Go here (to last week's post) if you want more detail on Mondays and the daily cleaning tasks.

Love your posts this month! I am working on it. I subscribed to your emails, too!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog. I really hate to do windows though, but it has to be done right!
ReplyDeleteThere are times that we need to replace our windows, but before you replace those, I think it is better to check those well. Maybe your old windows just need a repair or a simple cleaning. With that, you can spend your money wisely.
ReplyDeleteis it true that cleaning aircondition once a month will destroy the applicances?
ReplyDeleteReally enjoying this post, great organisation!
