Here is the main area of interest - the dog slobber on the front window/door.
Here's the cleaner:
Here's my favorite microfiber cloth for washing windows:
And the results:
I also needed to dust the area above my front door.
I've been thinking about what else I could add to this area - paint is on the list, but I like to use odd numbers when I decorate for balance and I think this space needs one more little thing. Any ideas? I had an idea to put a curtain that would be tied off to the left side. Has anyone seen that done - would that be weird?

It took me a moment to realize that was the space above the door you needed to dust, lol. Its about the size of my bathroom, haha. I think a curtain would be a very nice addition to the space.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of the curtain, I would definitely do something in a print to help break up the monotony.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think a curtain tied off to the side would look fine. Try it out!
ReplyDeleteDon't windows just get so disgusting sometimes?! There are several here that I need to do. (yikes)
A curtain, yes. Or how about something soft on the chair itself to soften all the straight lines?
ReplyDeleteSo I know that you will appreciate this. Last night my dog decided to eat a pen an aqua pen and it made a mess on the carpet. I blotted it up and then just stared trying to figure out what to do. I suddenly rememered the basic H whipes I got for my brithday and tried them, spots were gone! I couldn't take pictures though brown carpet and 10PM to dark :(
ReplyDeleteLove it Amber - thanks for sharing! Basic H2 takes out EVERYTHING!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'd add a thing to this space. I sort of like the asymmetry of just two items. A curtain would be quite cute, though, if you are bugged by not being in balance.
ReplyDeleteI love that chair there. I am not a curtain fan, but I agree that something should be added, especially up top. If it were me, I would try for a stained glass piece that you could hang from the window, or an old lantern to hang from above.
