Toddler + Preschooler + Toys = Toys. Everywhere.All.The.Time
It's not that I don't love having toys everywhere, all the time. It means that my kids are playing, having fun and using their imaginations. I have been trying out some ways to get a toddler and a preschooler to clean up their toys without a fuss.
The latest thing that works? A Clean Up Race - set a timer for one minute and see how much you can clean up in that time. My kids ask me to set the timer for more rounds of this game. - perfect What's your best kid clean up tactic?
Thats a great idea! I need to try it!
ReplyDeleteI think my kids would do it, but nothing would be put where it belongs :( Do you go back and organize the toys?

ReplyDeleteEverything has a spot, so they usually get things back in that spot and if they don't I just ignore it :)
We try not to pull everything out at once! I keep all of their toys in their rooms, and quite often they like to play downstairs in my company so they can only bring down one large choice or 2 - 3 smaller choices :-) Keeps things tidy!
