I'm curious - what's in your cleaning bucket? Do you use a cleaning bucket? Any favorite products or must-have cleaning tools? Here's my bucket - this is what I haul around the house for dusting and bathrooms. I love that it's simple and streamlined, safe and easy.
Here are the products separated and out of the bucket:
Cleaning Side
Dusting Side
Here are a couple links for you if you are interested in any of these products:
I keep a cleaning bucket in each bathroom with toilet cleaner, tub cleaner, glass cleaner, and microfiber cloths. I love not having to haul all that stuff around and having the right stuff available when I need to do a quick clean.
ReplyDeleteI have a tote, although the DH keeps taking things out to another room (instead of just taking the whole stinkin' thing) and not returning them. When complete, it contains Melaleuca Tub & Tile, Tough & Tender, and Clean & Clear, and wood cleaner, plus micro fiber cloths and a mini measuring cup to clean the toilets with the Tub & Tile concentrate.
ReplyDeleteI have a tote too. Love having everything in one spot. I will have to check out some of the products you use. I like that they are green products.
ReplyDeleteThe tote is a must have. I use it mostly for bathrooms. It's a lot easier to just carry it around than have products in all 5 bathrooms. I've got glass cleaner, paper towels, cleaning wipes, toilet scrubber and cleaner, bathroom cleaner, a duster, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, and a sponge. I would love to know more about the green products you use. Also, where did you get that dusting mitt and the micro fiber cloths?
ReplyDeleteAmy and Mauri-
ReplyDeleteCheck the links to learn more about the Shaklee products that I sell - they are green and more effective (in my opinion) than anything I've ever cleaned with before.
The dusting mitt is from WIlliams-Sonoma and the microfiber cloths are from Shaklee and Target- automotive section.
I keep hearing about Shaklee! I never really got in the habit of using a tote, but I think I should try it instead of running all over the house. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHuh, I never thought about a lint roller as a cleaning supply. I've only used it on clothes and my craft table (to clean up glitter and tiny scraps). I'm thinking I wouldn't have to drag out the vacuum as often if I tried this. Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteHow much Basic G do you use in the 16 oz bottle. I just bought the Basic G and haven't figured out how much to use. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHeather-
ReplyDeleteThe Basic-G is 1/4 tsp. to 16 oz.
LOVE this! I have been trying to figure out a way to organize my cleaning stuff better. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I recently hired a maid from finding in-home care. who used some of the similar techniques and products.
