I have been a happy Shutterfly customer for years. They always have great deals on prints and products, awesome free photo storage, and great gifts like calendars and photobooks. This year, I'm making and printing my Christmas cards through Shutterfly too. I usually make my own cards, but things are getting busy and I am so happy to be able to just upload a few pictures, select a cute card, and wait for the finished cards to arrive in the mail (Shutterfly will stamp and mail cards too - can you believe that?). They also have hundreds of Christmas address labels to coordinate with their Christmas cards.
Want to help me choose a Christmas card? Here are my front-runners for our Christmas cards this year...... Which one is your favorite?
I'd love to know - do you send holiday cards? What are your plans for cards this year? Do you have a target date for sending them out? I aim for the first or second week of December - having Shutterfly make my cards will definitely expedite my card-making process - yeah! (If you are a blogger, you can have Shutterfly make your cards too - Bloggers get 50 free holiday cards from Shutterfly!)
I always get my cards from Shutterfly too. I sent a photo card every year and most years I do a Christmas letter too. My husband thinks they're a waste of time, but I know I like getting christmas letters from others, so I continue to send them :)
ReplyDeleteFor the ones you put up there, I like either Nicely Noted or (2nd) Bright Merry Story. Good for you for being so on the ball getting going on these! Makes me want to start the process.
I like the Bright Merry Story or the Holly Frame.
ReplyDeleteWe use Shutterfly for our cards too. This year I even made Thank You's from my sons birthday with pictures from the party and I always get rave reviews. I've already started my Christmas cards and have ordered 25 but since I wait for sales or freebies it take a few orders.
I also found a great trick this time! I have Picasa and I used their collage feature so we have a family photo for the main part but the inside photo is a 15-20 photo collage of our son and all of the big events over the last year. It turned out so cute!!!!
i love the first one! so happy and cheerful..and what a beautiful little face!
ReplyDeletei think i am going to take advantage of this Shutterfly...i haven't used it before...
i usually just send out cards..but to personalize them seems more...well...personable!
#2 or #4!
ReplyDeleteI always make my cards a year in advance. :) We typically spend a week at my in-laws around Christmas so I plan out and bring the supplies needed for the next year's cards. It gives me something to do AND I don't have to stress about the current year's cards.
ReplyDeleteI like the Merry & Bright photo card. :) I do send a photo with my cards. We don't have any kids but we do have three dogs and a cat. It's sort of the family "joke" that I send a Christmas photo of the four-leggeds.
I love the holly frame #1 its my favorite! very festive! I have done holiday cards for almost every holiday since my son was born. I go back and forth between shutterfly and walmart.com. I do his birthday invites and thank you's online too. its super easy, quick and cheap!! thanks for the 50 free cards info too!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Holly Frame is my #1, the Bright Merry Story is my #2. I have never sent out christmas cards before, but I hope to do so this year! Now I just need to find pictures suitable for the cards - That always proves to be quite difficult. Love Shutterfly!!
ReplyDeleteI like the bottom one the best, fwiw!
ReplyDeleteI like the nicely noted and bright merry story. I have sent out christmas cards each year since my husband and I were married (9 years ago)--even when we lived overseas for a few years. Usually I send a picture too. And usually I make them myself. With three kids (5, 3, and 3 months) I too have decided to do a photo card and not make my own. Things are just a bit too busy and I'd rather have more time to make gifts for my kids. Thanks for the heads up about the 50 free prints. I usually use costco, but I'll definitely check out snapfish.
ReplyDeleteI like the Nicely Noted cards. Can you write in the middle of them? I love Christmas cards!!! I send one out every year and I am usually the first! LOL! I keep all the picture ones I receive every year and when I pop open the decorations I look how big everyone has grown
ReplyDeleteBright Merry Story!
