Clean + Organized - Check In

So, some of you have been working through my cleaning routine for the past three months, some longer, and some shorter.  How's it going?  Are you enjoying the routine, seeing it get easier as you keep going?  Is it impossible with your schedule?  Or are you somewhere in between?  Have you been able to check off a couple Spring Cleaning tasks this month?  What questions do you have for me, and/or what are you struggling with in your routines that you'd like some suggestions for?

It's Bathrooms Day - how about a couple pretty pictures to inspire a little 'loo' cleaning and organizing?

  1. my brain knows i 'should' start cleaning and organizing. the problem is that for some reason, my brain has a problem communicating that information to my arms and legs. :)

  2. 6 weeks ago my cleaning person moved away. I quickly found your blog, printed the schedule and have had a pretty easy time transitioning. I don't have kids and I HATE to pick up after myself and my husband so my house is more messy than dirty... so I tweaked the schedule to do less laundry and more organizing. Your blog has helped me organize as I go (basket in hand!).
I would like to see more deep cleaning tips like your baseboard post for the once-a-month nitty-gritty stuff. Thanks for also having the Facebook reminders. I waste time on FB and your little nudges help me get back on task!!

  3. I just started the 31 days a cleaning routine. Did a few days and fell off the wagon. Plan to climb back on this evening with Monday's bathroom cleaning. You make it sound simple yet my brain turns it into this complicated mess. : ) I'll get it though.

I am loving it! Somehow, it seems less daunting when I only have to pull out the vacuum, mess with the mop and dust rags once a week. I have a 5 month old, and my house is finally clean AND picked up!!
Even during the last week, when my routine has been off, I feel like I can catch up without being totally overwhelmed.

  5. I love your cleaning routine! I like to clean but find it hard to stay on top of it with my other "jobs". It is so much easier to focus on one task a day. Thank you! Gina

  6. If it was up to me to clean, nothing would get done. Thank goodness for cleaning services. I'm exhausted just reading.

  7. It is tiring to do house cleaning but using the proper tools can make it easier. Also you can make it fun like singing and dancing while vacuuming. :)
