In preparation for the start of the new school year, I put together a little memory box for special scool papers, report cards, notes, and small artwork. Right now, I have all three kids in one box - at some point they might each get their own box, but for now and for the sake of organization and saying no to clutter, it's all going in one box.
I put together a sheet for the front of each folder - there's a space for a 4x6 school photo or self-portrait, a place to write their name, and other special details. It's a perfect way to keep a little snippet from the school year.
Each kid gets their own color folder and I simply glued the sheet on the cover of each folder, labeled the first folder for each kid and I'm ready for the school year!
