I made a printable for us to track our progress, you could just take it and run, but I think you'll like the daily motivation and tips and tricks that this series will provide. So come back every day for the assignment and check off your progress as we go. You can go here to grab the free printable.
If you want to keep up on other daily cleaning tasks using my simple routine you can check out my free October cleaning schedule - to learn more about my cleaning routine and how I make cleaning a little bit every day an easy and manageable thing that we do. I have more free printables here too!
We've been cleaning our kitchen appliances - you could do this all in one day, but if you'd like to do a little more thorough job and/or not fall behind on any other tasks, just tackle it along with the schedule.
Today we're going to clean our microwaves....
here are two methods:
method #1
- take out the glass plate in your microwave and put it in your sink
- spray the interior of your microwave with non-toxic, all-purpose cleaner
- wipe down the interior of your microwave with a microfiber towel or cloth
- wash/dry the glass plate and return it to the microwave
method #2 (my favorite)
- put a bowl of water and lemon/lemon juice in the microwave and run it until the water boils (3-5 minutes).
- let the steam do its job by letting it sit for a few minutes
- wipe clean
I cannot read your blog with the blue and white patterned background
ReplyDeleteHi Traci!
DeleteIs it not showing up, or what exactly can you not read? I've checked it in IE and Foxfire and it's showing up....
xo, Becky
I love the lemon juice way of cleaning the microwave. I still wash the plate by hand though.
