SPRING ZONE CLEANING - DAY 12

Today's little bit of something: window casings

Using an all-purpose cleaner (I'm using my Basic H2 wipes) wipe every single window casing in your house.  Make sure that the all-purpose cleaner you are using is safe to use on the wood that you have around your windows.  I love Basic H2, because I know that it is perfectly safe to use on all sealed woods.  If I didn't have the Basic H2 wipes to use, I'd spray a little of my Basic H2 on a cotton rag on wipe away the grime and dust, or spray I'd spray the H2 directly on the casings and wipe away.

    I am on a break, since most of my windows are covered. A huge PAIN, but I will do them next month.

    I do have a question though.
    I looked at your daily docket & was wondering...How do you do just clean once a week? I find that I have to wipe down the bathrooms at least every other day (should be every), that I need to vacuum or sweep/mop the kitchen & family room every day (not that I do, lol)---I do shoot for every other day though. My kids are 4 & 6. They are both home all day on T/TH (naps have been gone for 2 yrs). The 4yr old is home every morning (preschool is M/W/F 12:30-3:15) & the 6 yr old is home F. afternoons. My house is ALWAYS a mess, even after I clean. I also find that I need to dust twice a week because I have dust after 2 days :( I am in awe of the once a week task list! I know you have daily task & I do those as well. How do you keep the baths clean all week?

    Hi Kimberly-
    I clean EVERY day. I wipe the counters (kitchen, bathrooms) through the house every day as needed. I deep clean the bathrooms on Mondays and then just do a quick wipe down every day or every other day. I dust once a week, but if something looks dusty during the week I just give it a quick dust.
