Find Your 30 Minute Dinners + Quicker Than Delivery Homemade Pizza Recipe

So far we've recorded all of our family's favorite recipes, highlighted the winner dinners and now today, the next step is to highlight the 30 minute dinners.  What makes a meal a 30 minute dinner?  A 30 minute dinner is one that can be prepped and on the table in 30 minutes.  So go through your family favorites sheet (go here if you don't have one yet) and highlight the meals that you know you can get on the table in 30 minutes or less.

Here are my highlights:

I made a little key at the top - this will be helpful later when we get into the "hardcore" meal planning.

Today I'm going to share with you my absolute favorite pizza recipe.  If you don't have a homemade pizza recipe, I encourage you to find one that's your favorite so you can make pizza at home instead of ordering out.  This recipe is one that I've adapted from America's Test Kitchen's magazine Cook's Country (you'll have to sign up for a free trial to access their version of the recipe) - from start to finish, it's done in about 30 minutes.  Can you believe a homemade crust with no rising?  It's a crisp crust that's delicious - slightly sweet.  I've made quite a few variations to the original recipe to make it more adaptable for what I always have in the pantry and refrigerator.  Originally called St. Louis Style Pizza, I call it Quicker Than Delivery Homemade Pizza.
Here's the run-down - start your timer:

 gather ingredients for crust

have preschooler stir crust ingredients

mix sauce or have it stored in the freezer from the last time you made the pizza (double the sauce recipe and put the leftovers in the freezer.)

heat oven to 475 degrees with pans in the oven

roll out dough into two crusts

top with sauce

top with cheese and any other toppings

bake in 475 degree oven for 9-12 minutes

 cut into squares and enjoy
