Day 3 - 31 Days to a Clean House

Welcome back - it's Day 3 of 31 Days to a Clean House!
I made a printable for us to track our progress, you could just take it and run, but I think you'll like the daily motivation and tips and tricks that this series will provide. So come back every day for the assignment and check off your progress as we go. You can go here to grab the free printable.
Today's task is to vacuum edges.  I chose this task today because it's already 'vacuum' day if you do my cleaning routine, so as long as we have the vacuums out, let's use them for this task.

I have a nozzle attachment on my vacuum cleaner and I quickly move around the edges of all the rooms on the first floor, vacuum the floor, and then move upstairs.
This might take a little longer, but combined with the regular vacuuming it will be a productive day!

If you want to keep up on other daily cleaning tasks using my simple routine you can check out my free October cleaning schedule - to learn more about my cleaning routine and how I make cleaning a little bit every day an easy and manageable thing that we do. I have more free printables here too!
Are you excited to get your house clean this month? I'm so happy that you are here today and ready to jump in! Don't forget to subscribe over to your right in the white box, follow me on Facebook for daily reminders and on Pinterest for all things clean and organized!

  1. I SO need to do the corners and edges in my house!!!

  2. I do my edges every couple of days, but you'd never know it to look at the doggie tumbleweeds gracing the floors. The "dailyness" of cleaning really gets me down sometimes. Thanks for the motivation!

  3. I'm so confused! I've got your October schedule and I am beginning it today. I will add in these 31 days to a clean house, but do you do this every month? Do I keep this checklist and do it every month? I like your ideas, yours is the first cleaning schedule I feel like I can maintain with my lifestyle and am a bit overwhelmed, but eager to get started.

    1. Hi Mom24!
I give away a new monthly cleaning checklist every month - it's my cleaning routine. So you can look for November's cleaning list at the end of October. It's up to you - you can just do the 31 days this month and then next month add the cleaning routine. OR, you can combine the two - I've tried my best to make it easy for you to put the two lists together if you're up for it. I hope this helps!

    2. Thank you for replying. It's embarrassing, but maintaining a clean home is something I have never mastered, I'd like to change that and I honestly feel like your system may work for me. Thank you for being so generous with your lists.
