SHORT CUT 3 - Favorite Cleaning Products

I enjoy cleaning.  I like the process, but I really love the end result.  Having a clean home to come home to defintitely sets the tone and keeps things relaxed.  Having a couple favorite, hardworking products makes it easier and takes the work out of mundane tasks.  Today, I'd like to share a couple of my old and new favorites - products that take cleaning to a whole new level and create short cuts in my daily routines.

still my favorite all-purpose cleaner - Basic H2

my favorite cleaning wipes - Germ Off Wipes
great short cut to keep bathrooms clean in-between weekly cleaning - subtle scent - non-toxic and recyclable

my favorite shower cleaner - Mrs Jones' Soapbox - Soft Cleaning Scrub
This stuff is AWESOME - the smell is amazing, it's easy to use in the shower, works like the dickens on tile, is eco-friendly AND it has antibacterial properties.

I love how this is a 2-in-1 cleaner AND polisher.  It works great on my stairs, railings, furniture.....

my favorite carpet and rug shampoo - Biokleen Carpet and Rug Shampoo
it has a great lime scent and works so nicely in my carpet cleaner

my not-so-environmentally friendly favorite toilet cleaner - (yes, I use cloth napkins and no paper towels, but I am totally grossed out by toilet brushes)  - so I use Scrubbing Bubbles Flushables.  I like the wand the attaches to the side of the toilet - it's easy, it works.

What are your favorite cleaning products that turn the mundane into a short cut?

  3. Norwex microfiber, hands down. I can clean probably 90% of my house with just 2 cloths and some water (and remove 99% of bacteria). TOTAL timesaver, and no chemicals to boot!

  4. Love the Shaklee stuff I've been using, meant to email you about it. and yes, I've gone to the Scrubbling bubbles wand, as well. At least the refills are small, and we recycle in other ways, right? (that's what I try to tell myself, lol).
