One way to make life easier and to create an easy short cut is to have a routine - loose, rigid, or somewhere in between. Life runs a little more smoothly and there's no wasted time trying to figure out what to do next.
Simple routines like a cleaning schedule and meal planning are great ways to start. Start small with simple steps like dusting on Tuesdays and vacuuming on Wednesdays. Or start planning your meals for the week on Fridays.
What routines do you have that are actually short cuts and make your life easier?

ReplyDeleteI have several routines, but one that I'm try to do whenever possible is making large enough suppers that there's usually 1 or 2 (or more!) servings leftover. I'm home with 3 kids, and my husband runs home for a super quick lunch break, and it's so much easier to just warm up leftovers instead of trying to find time to cook among the midst of the chaos! :)
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to take a look at those printables and get a schedule going. I am putting together a binder and started a mission: organization to get our life a bit more organized. Thanks for the advice and printables!
