Clean Mama Printables Shop and My Homekeeping Binder

Don't forget to enter my sponsor, MeadowWren's giveaway.

It's not a surprise that I LOVE binders and organizing and list-making.  I've been making and printing lists for years and using binders and plastic sleeves forever for a long time.  I have a Homekeeping Binder that I created for myself that organizes my LIFE in a way that nothing else can.  I love having all my "tools" in one place that I can easily access.  There are a lot of places on the Internet where you can get free printables to fill your binders, but I never found that they work for me all the time and if they don't work for me, I won't use them.  So I started to make my own, I've shared some with you, I've shared them with friends and family, I've tweaked and changed them to what I think is "universally" helpful and put them in an Etsy shop - Clean Mama Printables.
Every printable is customizable - you choose the colors, fonts and you can change some wording to work for YOU.  The beauty of this is that it's a PDF file that I email to you and you get to print it as many times as you'd like to.  Check out Clean Mama Printables - I have an Etsy mini shop on my sidebar.  I'll continue to add printables as I make them - they are inexpensive and made just for you!

So what are the basics in my Homekeeping Binder?
  • 3 Ring Binder
  • plastic sleeves
  • scrapbooking paper for front and back covers
  • dividers - I put scrapbooking paper in the plastic sleeves and make tabs with my label maker, cardstock and packing tape
  • planning pages (Weekly Docket, Weekly Menu Planner for the Month, Reading Log, Room Planner, To Do List, Recipes to Try, Responsibility Chart for kids, Goals for the Week, Goals for the Month, Shopping List, 2010 Calendar)
I have a little Clean Mama Printables shop opening contest for all of you with 5 chances to win a Custom Weekly Docket and/or a Custom Printable based on your idea:

1.  Go to Clean Mama Printables and come back here and tell me what printable you would choose and you'll be entered to win a Custom Weekly Docket.

  1. The responsibility chart has to be my favorite. I have a hard time making charts that all my children can follow since I have them ranging in age from 9 down to 22 months.

  2. What about a printible for just kids activities? We constantly have things every day and I would like to have one where the girls could look at it and see where they need to be and when instead of leaving it up to me all the time!

  10. I have a binder that I keep in my kitchen that keeps me organized. I printed your spring cleaning schedule & put it in there (of course it's in plastic sleeves :). I searched high & low for the right binder a while back, making sure it had slots in the front, but never thought of using scrapbook paper to beautify it. Off to the basement I go to look through my stash! Thanks for the great idea!

  12. I think one page listing all the months where you can fill in the birthdays and anniversaries for each month you want to remember would be a helpful form!

  20. Not sure if this is included in your homekeeping sheets, but I would love to see a sheet for keeping track of 'maintenance' items you should do around your house, on a regular basis (annualy, monthly, weekly). For example: change filters, watering plants, clean washing machine, clean coffee pot, clean windows, etc.

  21. This is super tough, but my favorite is Goals for the Week. I can see it on my mirror now. I love the responsiblity chart and when my son (who is only one now) gets a little older, I will be purchasing that!

  22. It would be great to have a printable for goals for the year--for instance 2010 Goals as the header. Then have an area for goals in different areas, such as physical, spiritual, educational, etc. It would also be great to have a monthly goal printable.

Come join us for a drawing. Three books to be given away. Sometimes, being a follower is so much fun.

  26. Cleaning is part of normal maintenance of the carpet - normal wear involves walking over, perhaps put in the ground outside and dirt that accumulates typical in any field. To keep your carpet clean, you must create a routine cleaning. If you have traffic lights, once a week is enough. Depending on the amount of traffic that could be two or three times a week. If you have heavy traffic, you should consider vacuuming every day.
