Holidays + Special Occasions Planner

I've been working on a little Holiday + Special Occasions Planner to keep my plans, traditions, decorations and recipes all in one place and accessible from year to year.

I started by making a list of all the holidays we celebrate - in big or small ways.  Then I wrote down all the things that I'd like to have a record of - the menu, guests, decorations, traditions, and a little to do list.  Then I turned this format into a printable (surprise, surprise).  Each holiday is a little different, with a different font and color scheme to correspond with the holiday.  I added a blank sheet for other special occasions and a birthday planning sheet for birthday celebrations.  Then I made two cute perpetual calendars to use during especially busy months to keep track of food that's made ahead, other events, etc.

I printed them all out

added a cover sheet

grabbed a binder and added some cute paper for the cover and binding

printed off labels to make dividers for the sections (you could just buy dividers, but I like to make them)

put labels on cardstock

cut dividers

put sheets in binder - I put them in sleeves, but you could hole punch them and attach labels to sleeves with packing tape

add pictures, recipes, anything that you want to remember to do for a holiday or special occasions - I plan on taking pictures of Christmas decorations so I remember how I hung the garland, did the mantel, etc.

Now I'm getting ready for the next holiday - as I see and think of little things, I'll add them to my binder, instead of trying to remember everything or having lists scattered in my paper pile.

Of course I added this to the shop - you can go here to pick up your Holiday and Special Occasions Planning Kit - 16 printable sheets!
If you don't celebrate the holidays that I have listed, no worries, this listing comes with 3 title changes, free of charge - see instructions for this in the listing.

  2. I used to have a planner before especially when I was still working as a secretary in one of the biggest company in our place. My schedule was very hectic and I can't even go to my friends birthday or family gatherings because of my work. But indeed the planner helps me a lot. I have organized my time and schedule with the help of this planner.
